Welcome to Phototown, the friendly place where you'll see wonderful and amazing photographic images.  Where the dedicated photographers strive to bring to you photographic images that you will be proud to display and enjoy for years.

Looking for attractive wall decor for your home or office?  Maybe it’s a gift for that special friend or relative.  Well, you've arrived at the right place.  Phototown has quality images at affordable prices.  We invite you to browse the galleries and enjoy the images, (oohing and ahhing is okay too) they're here for you to see.  You just might find the perfect holiday gift or one for anytime of the year.  Make sure to tell your friends about Phototown, so they can visit too.

psst..  Here's an example, flowers from Phototown don't require constant care and watering, and they look good for years.

We would like you to know we appreciate your visit to Phototown.  We will be adding more images very soon and hopefully very often and we would appreciate you coming back to see them.  For a quick way to learn when new photographs have been added to the galleries go to What's New Bypass.  You can learn what's been added or changed since you visited last, without searching the whole site.  We want your visits with us to be pleasant ones and definitely want you to return often.

The images used for display on Phototown are low resolution for faster loading and viewing.  When an order is placed, the photographic prints are made from a much larger digital file which is very high resolution and extremely high quality.  The actual colors of the finished prints may not be exactly as shown because all monitors are not calibrated and do not display images the same.

We use the words; image, picture, photo, photograph and photographic image, to describe basically the same thing.  The words are pretty much interchangeable in our world.

The featured photographers, (read the bio's on Photographers Lane) all have a passion for photography and spend countless hours improving skills that have been perfected over years of creating photographic images.  Ideas and imagination, creativity and sensitivity, talent and technical skills, are just some of the things that went into capturing and creating the photographic images you'll find here in Phototown.

"A photograph is worth a thousand words" so maybe we should let the photographs speak for themselves.  We believe they will amuse and delight you.  I feel a smile coming on already.

Gallery Boulevard is the entryway to all of the galleries containing the images.  From there you can go to the Main - Gallery Avenue, Large Print GalleriesPanorama Park Galleries and the Canvas Wrap Galleries.  In the galleries, click on any picture to see a larger version of the image.  You can click on the right side (next photo) or the left side (previous photo) of the large image to see the photographs in that gallery.  For more information on getting around inside of the galleries go to Gallery Crosswalk where examples of the gallery pages are shown.

Canvas Wrap, an ingenious way to display photographs.  This is a really unique way to save time and money.  These prints are on canvas paper and wrapped around a wooden frame like a painting, with a black paper backing that seals and protects the rear of the print giving it a totally finished appearance.  The prints are very light in weight, have an acrylic coating for protection and can use standard picture hangers for display.  The prints Do Not require framing or Glass and can be dusted by lightly wiping the print with a clean cloth that has been slightly dampened with water.  Go to Canvas Wrap Drive for more information and to see examples.

Some of the photographers will be adding images into the Large Print Galleries where you will be able to find images with available sizes of 30x40 and 24x30.

Panorama images can be found in the Panorama Park Galleries by some of the photographers in panoramic dimensions with an aspect ratio of 2:1 or greater. (the width is at least 2 times its height)   Sizes available are 12x24 and 10x20.

Looking for a special photograph of something or size you didn't find in the galleries?  The photographers all have extensive files of images that haven't made it into the galleries so feel free to contact us with your requests.
We do have sizes and photographs that are not in the galleries available only by special order. Use to the
Special Order form to submit a request. If you need images for other mediums or uses, we have images available with limited licensing rights, please contact us for additional information.

To help you get around the site easily there are several ways to do it.  You can use the links at the top and bottom of the pages, or by clicking on any of the links within the page and you can go to Site Map Intersection for tips and links to all of the site.  We've tried to make Phototown user friendly and easy to get around.

If you find a problem or have suggestions on how we can improve the website, we would appreciate hearing from you.  Please check out the Contact Us Service Area to find more information.

The images on Phototown are created using high resolution digital cameras or scanned from film negatives resulting in a digital file of the image.  The photographer then loads the image file into state-of-the-art imaging software to fine-tune and prepare it for Phototown.  When an order is placed for an image, the image file is sent to one of the finest professional photo labs in the country and a photographic print is made.  For more information about how the prints are made, available sizes and special orders go to Prints Parkway.

When a large image is being displayed, you can scroll down to the Purchase this Photograph section to view your selections in the cart or to purchase a photo.  For more information on buying the photographs, go to Purchase Path.

Be sure to check What's New Bypass every time you visit.  It's where you can learn when something has been added or changed on the Phototown website.  There will be a posting for all new images added with the page numbers so you can easily find them.
