Canvas Wrap, an ingenious way to display photographs.

Introducing Canvas Wrap, an ingenious way to display photographs. This is a really unique way to save time and money. These prints are on canvas paper and wrapped around a wooden frame like a painting, with a black paper backing that seals and protects the rear of the print giving it a totally finished appearance. The prints are very light in weight, have an acrylic coating for protection and can use standard picture hangers for display. The prints Do Not require framing or Glass and can be dusted by lightly wiping the print with a clean cloth that has been slightly dampened with water. Only specifically selected photographic images will be available in Canvas Wrap. These images must start out larger than the finished size because they need at least 5 inches for wrapping. A 16x20 inch finished size must be at least 21x25 inches when sent to the lab for the print.

The composition of an image, the way the wrap will use some of the image and the overall appearance of the finished wrapped print will be the deciding factors on which images will be offered in Canvas Wrap.

Even with automation, most photographic prints involve some hand work in the Lab. However, almost all of the Canvas Wrap process is done by hand and is reflected in its pricing. Only the 16x20 inch finished size images will be available in Canvas Wrap at this time. As with all images on Phototown, please use the special order form if you would like additional information, pricing or would like an image in a size other than what is normally offered. Special Orders, which could be due to a special size, paper type, surface coating, mount or other item not normally offered on Phototown, are handled by request. Go to the Special Order form to submit a request.
